I would also like very much to know who other members of that congregation might be. My ancestor, Josiah Ramsey and his wife Elizabeth were early settlers of the Max Meadows area (1768). Josiah Ramsey owned several acres which he left in his will dated 1805 to his sons Joseph and William Ramsey. Joseph remained his lifetime in Wythe County, VA. After his death, the property which was near Fort Chiswell and on both sides of Reed Creek was sold to the descendants of James McGavock whose property joined the Ramsey property. We believe they were of the Presbyterian faith but have been unable to find church records or location of their graves. Rose
