I am researching Hilton, Martin, Jones, Vass and McClaugherty in Montgomery County. I live in Jacksonville, Florida and will be going to a Hilton Family Reunion in Ripplemead, Giles County in a couple of weeks. It has been over 40 years since I have been in Montgomery County. I want to visit the Montgomery County Courthouse. Could someone please provide me directions to the Montgomery Courthouse and tell me where I should go in the Courthouse to review birth, death, marriage and genealogical information. Also, is there a Montgomery County Historical Society that has genealogical information or a book on the History of Montgomery County? Does the Montgomery County Library have genealogical information? If so, please provide the address of the library. The location of any other information would be appreciated.
