My husband's great grandfather William Sirles [Sarles] born Mar.1811 Ky. Died 13 Nov.1888 at Medora IL.His first wife was Elizabeth Elliott she died abt. 1836 after the birth of their daughter Elizabeth [Betty] Sirles [Sarles] They now spell their name Searles.
