Hello Everyone, I'm new to the list and I could really use some assistance from someone that is personally familiar with the area and its resources to genealogists. Here's my problem . . . A few weeks ago I ordered a copy of an obituary from the Montgomery Floyd Regl Library. They found a copy of the obit in the News Messenger, but unfortunately the copy that they sent is so poor, that I can't begin to guess at some of the names and places mentioned. I'm not familiar with the area or with this family as I've only just begun to research the line. Is there any place else in the area that would have access to the News Messenger from 1972? Melissa, Try contacting the funeral home that was used. I have often found them to be helpful. Please tell us what line you are researching and someone on the list may already have the info you need.
