Hello Again, I posted earlier about an obituary that I need for Montgomery County. I've received quite a few e-mails from kind souls offering assistance :). Thank you! Here's some more info.: The obit that I need is for Lundy Fagg. He died January 23, 1972. His obit was listed under the town name of Blacksburg. The funeral was held in the Jones Funeral Church - I've been told that this is now the McCoy Funeral Home. He is buried at McCoy in the (it looks like) Centennial Christian Church Cemetery. The library found the obit in the News Messenger which I assume is a local paper for the Blacksburg/Montgomery County area. Here is what I'm able to get from the obituary - I'm guessing at some of the info. as I'm not familiar with the local funeral homes, churches, or cemeteries. Lundy Fagg Blacksburg - Lundy Fagg, 80(?), formerly of Blacksburg, died Sunday, January 23, 1972, in a Clarksburg(?) W. Va, hospital. He is survived by two foster daughters, Mrs. Porter L. Van Horn, Weston, W. Va. Mrs. John S. (?), Martinsville(?); a half sister, Mrs. Della(?) Sigman(?), Blacksburg. The funeral was held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, in the Jones Funeral Church. Burial was in the Centennial Christian Church Cemetery at McCoy. The service was conducted by the Rev. Mr. D. L. Board(?) pastor of the Sunnydale Pentecostal(?) Holiness Church(?). Pallbearers were John Smith, Lee (?), Stanall(?) Smith, Melvin(?) Smith, Samuel Smith(?) and Stanley(?) Smith. The hospital may have been a VA hospital. Mrs. Van Horn may have been Mildred.
