Surnames: McDonald/McDaniel Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/yAC.2ACE/1042 Message Board Post: Have been searching for McDonald ancestors (mid-to-late-1700s) for many years, and recently have been finding clues to point me toward Montgomery County area during this time frame. Also did a DNA test and found a very strong connection with a McDonald descendant from this area. I'd like to connect with a male McDonald descendant of Bryan McDonald of this area (from Ireland/Scotland) who has done the y-chromosome test if at all possible, so that I can either rule in or rule out that family in the search for ancestry. Alternatively, anyone who knows of any male Bryan descendants who 'disappeared' from the published records in one way or another, I'd love to hear about them. Thanks Dan McDonald
