    3. This is very interesting. I have the children of Robert and wife Elizabeth Childress as Thomas, Agatha, Virginia, and Elizabeth. Agatha was born ca. 1794-1795 and married John Muncy, also of Montgomery Co. I've never been able to pin Robert to any of the other Elliotts in the area and have seen one source that says Robert was the son of a Joseph Elliott from Ireland (Scots-Irish) who settled in PA.     3. Carole, I am looking for information on a Richard Thomas Davis, son of George T (Q) Davis. They were in Pulaski, VA in the late 30's through the 60-70's. I believe they were originally from Montgomery county and tie back into the Adams family. Any connection?     3. To the list, I am new to the list and wanted to post my brick wall. I am looking for a George Bruce whom I believe to be a brother of William Bruce who died in Giles Co in 1813. There was a deed in Albemarle Co VA that stated "presented at a court held for Montgomery Co on seventh day of November 1797" between George Bruce and William Bruce. This deed recorded the sale of property in Albemarle Co from George to William. I have been unable to obtain a copy of this deed for signature comparison. It has been stated, but not proven that I am aware of, that George was from Albemarle Co., went to Montgomery Co to visit William and died while he was there. To my knowledge, no one has found any record of George's death or burial. I believe his death would have been shortly after the transfer of this deed, probably within the year, and may have been what prompted George to visit William. My question is: Does anyone have any record or information concerning this George Bruce? I am particularly interested in obtaining a copy of this transaction to compare signatures to see if he is my George Bruce or not, and documenting his death. Once they get married it is almost impossible to find them. hopefully someone out there will have info and take time to share it with me....PLEASE!!!!! This is what I have.... all born in Floyd Cty, Va...last name spelling: Talbert, Tolbert, Talbot, Talbott or other Parents were: Alexander Tolbert and Catherine Shaw/Shew, Schul Names Mary Margaret born 1839 Sarah Jane 1841 Elmira 1843 Amanda M. 1845 died 12/10/1861-buried Zion Lutheran Church-Floyd Rhoda 1848 Julina 1857 They had 2 brothers--Joel Rufus and James Buchanan.... It appears that most of this family migrated into Pulaski Cty, Va after 1870 into the Highland/dublin area. After that, these sisters could have moved anywhere...I found Rhoda still alive in 1930 as per the census listing still in Pulaski county, Va. HELP.....Bobby
