Thompson and Rebecca Farley as the parents of Margaret but cannot tie to Isaac. Isaac and Margaret are buried in Oakvale, Mercer County, West Virginia. Welcome, new listers, I have several lines in Montgomery Co, so here goes: Angle, Brown, Feller, Fizer, Haymaker, Jewell, Long, Martin, Murdock, Richardson, and Surface. They all date 1850 and earlier, and some of the German lines are traced to Europe. I'd like to compare notes if you have new info. John Brown (1773 Montgo-1862 Montgo) married Sarah Murdock in 1842 in Montgo, had children Mary Jane 1843 and William Philbert 1845. His will mentioned prior children, but did NOT name them, alas. So, I'd really like to hear from you if you're researching Browns. I can't find any earlier record of him in Montgo, and Low Brown's clan has been ruled out. My g-g-grandfather was William Henry Hilton (it possibly was Hylton or Helton and changed to Hilton). I am trying to locate the parents, brothers, sisters and grandparents of William Henry Hilton. The census records indicate he was born in Montgomery County (possibly now Giles County) in May 1824. Elizabeth, his wife, was born in July 1840 in Montgomery County. They were married about 1860 and their children were: Henrietta (b. 1865), Joseph (my g-grandfather b. 1867), Susan (b. 1868), Walter (b. 1871), James (b. 1873), Clayton (b. 1876) and William Jr. (b. 1880). Joseph Hilton (my g-grandfather) married Louvenia Jones and their children were Bessie (b. 1889), Gertrude (b. 1891), Oakee (my grandfather, b. 1893), Basil Kemper (b. 1895), Carl Watson (b. 1897), Maude (b. 1899), Toby (b. 1903), Jeneva (b. 1905) and Fred McClure (b. 1908).
