    2. Angela Griffin
    3. On Ancestry.com, under Pulaski births, there is a individual listed under Sheffey. The name is S. Mason Sheffey and this person is a girl. Her parents are Craig and Ann Sheffey. (You have to be a member to view this info). Is it possible that someone in or around Pulaski can look this up for me at the court house. I believe this is my 2g grandmother and her name was Mary Georgia or Georgia Mary but she was called Macie. The date was Jun 20, 1887. Thanks Angela

    3. Hello, We are planning a trip to the Montgomery County area soon. In addition to visiting the library at the county seat, and the Wilderness Road Regional Museum, both of which we will do, does anyone have any suggestions for other "must visit" genealogical resources there in this area? Would appreciate any information or input, especially from those who live in, or are familiar with, the area. A. W.

    3. Hello G. Lee Hearl, I usually don't respond to these types of messages since it just seems to add fuel to the fire, but I feel I must in this instance. Also, normally I'd respond to just the person in question, but since the initial note was sent to the entire list, so is my reply. The note you wrote below was uncalled for to say the least. I know Phyllis and I can tell you that she DID NOT do this on purpose. Your phrase below that each note was sent as a separate message to each list, is incorrect. It is indeed possible to send out an e-mail to one person or a handful, but accidently hit the wrong button and send the note to an entire group of e-mail addresses. The condescending attitude you take is not what is needed on a genealogy listserv. In fact, the very act of sending your "reply/rejection of Phyllis' apology" to the entire listserv, is spam and meant to embarrass Phyllis. If you had a problem with her, you should have written to her privately in a courteous manner. You haven't embarrassed her; you've embarrassed yourself. Thanks, Mary At 12:36 PM 4/2/2001 -0400, you wrote: >To Phyllis: >I, as a member of this list, do not accept your apology for sending your >spam to me through the list. >It is quite apparent that the spam message was not sent by mistake.
