    3. Hi Kent, Saw your name and your reference to ancestors in Mecklenburg County, Va. If Joel ELAM (circa 1780s-90s) of Mecklenburg Co is also one of your relatives then we're cousins of some sort. My 3rd great-grandaunt, Polly EASTER, married a Joel ELAM. One of my ancestors, Andrew Elam, lived along Woodpecker Creek in the 1830's. I do not have any more information than this.
