Hi, had to let you know about this link. At the below site are 960 County land patents and deeds abstracted by "Author: Hudgins." All files in the Deed Data Pool are copyright © 1995-1999 Direct Line Software. <http://www.ultranet.com/~deeds/pool.htm>http://www.ultranet.com/~deeds/pool .htm The land records are abstracted in a "text" form that is recognized by a deed mapping program - obviously in this case, "DeedMapper."  When you select the "plot" view, it magically turns into the actual shape of the tract of land.  That is...unless you enter a mistake, or the 1700+ surveyor was careless, or the scribe wasn't too concerned about those of us who would today scramble to put all of it together!   I have been working on a mapping project of my own for about 6 months.  It is a challenge, but great fun if you enjoy that type of thing.
