Sorry to say the only information I have about the name COLEMAN is the following: Jamima Spain, widow, married CAIN COLEMAN, widower, in 1816 in Mecklenburg Co., Virginia. John Spain, her son, married a MARTHA COLEMAN, about the same time-I tend to believe it was Cain Coleman's daughter. Marriage records there indicate there were three other marriages of someone named CAIN COLE- MAN there over a period of several years. Possibly the same Person??? I haven't been able to research what happened to Jamima as his wife. Sorry to be unable to help. Jeanne Spain
