There was an article submitted to the two legacy books published by the Person County Historical Society. As I recall their line came from a John Wagstaff who supposedly was born in 1725 in England; was married to a Mary Wagstaff and had the following children: Kit, Byrd, Britton, and Basie Wagstaff.
