This is my first message to the list. I see GREGORYs apparently all over VA and NC, but have been unable to connect my Patience GREGORY to any. She married Simon DRAKE, 1 May, 1817, Wake Co., NC, with B. King as bondsman. An earlier marriage in Wake Co. was Unity Gregory. A marriage of Charles Gregory in Person Co., NC was about the same time as Patience's. These three are linked because they were linked together in a 1954 Manti, Utah temple ordination by Thomas Pritchett whose main line was RICEs of NC. CLARKE stood in as proxy. At this time, Pritchett and Clark had to have been related, and it does state that Pritchett was related to the Gregorys. Is there anything in this site that might link my Patience Gregory to the Gregorys of Va? Shirley Drake Maynard
