Hi James, I have been researching my Williamson ancestors in Mecklenburg County. They lived south of Clarksville, VA near the North Carolina border. They have been clustered in what is today the Shiney Rock Road, the old Stateline Baptist Church, and the Grassy Creek (North Carolina) areas. The furthest back I have gotten is James R. Williamson, d. Mar 1883, who was married to Malinda. Do you recognize this name?
