Hi Randy I saw your message on the Civil War Soldiers and was wondering about your name. have yoiu done the Garrett genealogy? I have a Garrett ancestor that I can't find any infomation on except who she married and an approximate date. Her name was Rachel and she married the Rev. Benjamin Brown whbo was born at "Four Mile Tree" in Surrey County in the 1700's. He died in 1805 and is buried in St. Johns Church in Hampton Va. Both he and Rachel are buried there. I have not been able to find any more than that. Would you have any information on her or any idea where I may go to find out about her? I do have the date Rachel died, but it is not handy now.
