Oh my goodness! Your email gives me GOOSE BUMPS and brings tears to my eyes. I've been looking for a long time. You have landed a jack pot for me. I find this very strange because I have family in Vance Co., NC. I've been searching on my own and have received lots of info from my uncle and Aunt (the only next to kin - 1st generation) that I have contact with, but I haven't received this info yet. Don't even know if they know. Give me some time to relay this via email to my uncle and see what the out come is. I can't get my Family Tree Maker program up right now - I'm wondering if 2000 had an affect on it. I'm working on this now and I'll be happy for forward all that I have on this family. In the area of George Richardson (my ggg) I have no info. We didn't even know who he was married to. I know of one child, James Robert Richardson who is my (gg) who fathered Alma my grandmother. Alma died in 1958 and I never knew her. More later when I get my Tree Maker working and hear from my uncle. Thanks so very much, Dawn Brown Richardson P.S. I married another Richardson (who is from NC - oh my) and this is what started the whole thing about "maybe I need to know the Richardson side of my family". Is this what makes the world go round?
