Anyone researching these folks?---------Mecklenburg VA, DB 4:166,167: 20 July 1773 ALEXANDER ROBERTS of Co of Meck to James Barnes of Charlotte Co., cons. 65 pd current money of Virginia which the said Alexander Roberts is justly indebted to him and honestly desires to secure and pay to him and for the further cons. of the sum of five shill like money to the said ALEXANDER ROBERTS in hand paid by the said James Barnes...In the co of Meck cont. 150 a. by est., being the land the said Roberts now lives on the Lower or [on?] East side of Aarons Creek, with all appurtenances.
