Dear Alice, I live in Meck.Co. and have Daniel ancestors in VA and also in Granville Co. NC which is adjacent . I checked a little on NC Rootsweb for Granville and there are several possibilities. In my family several families moved back and forth in this area. My Daniels are from Piers- to Col. William Daniel etc. I have a lot on the family and will try to look over my notes for yours.
