White House #1, disassembled in the Buffalo Creek area of Mecklenburg Co., VA, was found today at sunset, perched on a hill in Granville Co., NC. (Called White House #1 because a later one near it on White House Road in Mecklenburg was called White House #2.) It is in good hands and I will have photos and more information in about two weeks. I promise. Thanks to all who helped me find the area in Granville. Barbara Elliott visits a cemetery in the Cornwall Road area and kept feeding me clues on landmarks until the treasure hunt ended. It was so exciting.
