    1. [VALOUISA] Polly Chiles Houchens
    2. The Poupel/Morddel family
    3. Hi again, Dan, I should give a better answer: I have never come across a Houchens or a Polly Chiles when researching Judith Woodson Chiles. For her sisters, I have: Lucy Sarah Elizabeth Mary (called "Molly") Edna Nancy Klotter ( in Genealogies of Kentucky Families from the Register of the Kentucky Historical Society, v. I), gives this for their children: "This list of her children is copied from a paper which Miss Cornelia Page had found in a trunk which had belonged to her grandmother, Jane McFall Graves, Jane being a granddaughter of Henry and Sarah Chiles." : Tarlton, Henry, Fleming, Judith Woodson, Nancy, Sarah H., Lucy Woodson, Elizabeth, Mary, Edna Fawney. Hutchison (in Tidewater Virginia Families : Generations Beyond) quotes the same list of Henry and Sarah's children, their spouses and their immigration as coming from the George Harrison Sanford King (1914-1985) papers held at the Virginia Historical Society. Henry and Sarah were members of the Golansville Monthly Meeting (Quaker) until they married and both were disowned as they were first cousins. (See W.W.Hinshaw, Encyclopedia of America Quaker Genealogy, 1750-1930, , vol. 6, p. 227) Henry was reinstated, Sarah was not. I have not been able to find an online access to the original Golansville Monthly Meeting records, (possibly at Swarthmore, no one seems to know) to see if their children are listed or not. They are not in Hinshaw, so I suspect not, as their mother was not reinstated. That is everything I have been able to find on Judith's siblings. I am sorry I have not been able to find your Polly. Keep looking. She'll turn up one day. Anna __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com
