    1. [VALOUISA] Louisa Graveyard book
    2. I don't know if you found the Bruce family cemetery or not for publication of Vol 1. If not, and if you can find it, please add it to the next volume? I found the cemetery a number of years ago and wrote down the directions to it, however, in subsequent trips I have been unable to locate it again. The last time I went looking, there was a lot of construction going on and I sure hope that it is still there. The directions that I have are: >From Boswell's Tavern, take Rt 22 to Rt 615. From Rt 615 to Rt 694. Turn right on 694. Go approx 1 mile and turn right on a dirt road. When I was there, the dirt road had a gate or a rope across the entrance stating that the property was for sale and to contact the Cobham Hunt Club. My assumption is that the Hunt Club probably owned the property. The cemetery is approx 1/4 down the dirt road . It is in a grove of cedar trees on the left. It can be seen from the dirt road. There was a wire fence with a gate around it. At the time I was there, there was a small stream, maybe a foot or so wide that ran across it and would have water only if it rained. Because the entrance was blocked, I walked the quarter mile or so to the cemetery. I will never forget the red mud I took back with me. The tombstones that are there are: B B Bruce, Brander's Co., Va Lt. Arty CSA. (This would be Brightberry Brown Bruce b 12/16/1822 d 5/1/1899) Paul Uleyate Bruce Nov 17 1855 Dec 22, 1931 Mary Ann Bruce Oct 12, 1863, Mar 1 1947 William L Bruce Oct 17, 1889 Oct 28, 1889 W. Edward Wright Oct 7, 1871 Apr 26 1899 There were five indentions that may or may not be unmarked graves Please let me know the price of Vol 1 and where to order it. Many thanks Bea (Bruce) Hudson ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
