I received my graveyard book today. I am happy to have it for several reasons. As you can tell from the picture on J-008, it is not being kept up. Also there is a slight error in the wording on the Beverly R and Thomas J Fox label. He was Beverly Ragland Fox and she was Thomasia Johnson Fox. You can see it on the tombstone correctly. She lived to be quite old. Thanks for your work. Do you know if there are laws in Virginia about destroying old cemeteries? I know some states do not allow it to happen. There was a gravesite on the property that my father, T J Henderson and my Aunt Linda Fox Downey referred to as Egypt. It was where the slaves were buried and I have no idea where that is in relation to the one in the book. Thanks for your message, Linda. You are certainly right, it is clear on the tombstone. We went over the inscriptions so many times, trying to make sure they were right, but it just goes to show, no matter how careful you try to be, there's always the possibility of error. I'm glad, in this case, it is clear on the stone. I will correct it in case we do a third printing. We have the second printing now, and they are going quickly. Yes, there are quite extensive laws in VA about disturbing old graveyards. And I think the developers are trying to do better, at least it seems that way. I am not familiar with the property you mentioned, but if you can be more specific, we will check it out. Thanks for your support.
