I still own some of the land where my Pace ancestors lived in Fluvanna since 1822 , I was told. Thru the DNA study of the Pace Society, it has been found that we are descendents of John Pace of Middlesex and earlier ancestors in England. I know that my grandfather and Uncle are both buried there somewhere. They both died about 1910 My Uncle Overton Ashby Pace was murdered in December, 1910. There was a trial later. I was not born then, so details were very sketchy, handed down by my Mother, Vera Pace, who witnessed it. There is a new development called Sycamore Square just beside the land on which they lived and I am concerned about finding the graves and preserving them.Is there such a law about that in Virginia? I live in Maryland now; Thank you, Lois carey] Phoenix, Maryland * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Please note: My new email address is lcarey34@verizon.net.
