    2. _lcarey@bcpl.net_ (mailto:lcarey@bcpl.net) writes "I have seen her father (Patsy Johnson) as being Thomas Johnson. Would he be the one connected to Roundabout Castle? She was born about 1786 and married Elisha Pace of Fluvanna Co.Va on Oct. 22, 1806 in Louisa Co.Va. They had several children, one of whom was a Hudson Pace. They moved West later with several of their children." Elisha is supposed to be a son of William and Mary Pace. I do not know of any supporting documentation. I do know of very strong documentation for their (William and Mary) daughters, Elizabeth m. William W. Evans, Nancy m. James M. Bellomy, Susannah m. 1st Jackson Bellomy, 2nd Tarlton Evans and Margery m. George W. Wineinger plus youngest sons William, Jr. and Edward. The documentation is found in Scott County, VA Deed Book 1, page 35. My connection to the family is through Margery Pace Wineinger and also William Roe Bellomy, an older brother to James and Jackson above. Again, I have very strong documentation including some yDNA support. I will share further information on any of the above. Back to Elisha Pace. I know he m. a Patsy Johnson, a daughter of Thomas Johnson. Is she a daughter of "Sheriff" Johnson? I suspect there is a marriage bond on file in Louisa County to answer that question. Has anyone found that bond? Jim Brown ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

    3. I have just about decided that all of us with ancestors in Louisa County from 1780 to 1850 are related either by blood or marriage. :-) Warmest Regards, Donna
