    3. If you have a Family History near you, you can order a film that is from ca 1766 and several more years. It may have the marriage bond and permission of the parents for the marriage. The film number is 32190 Louisa County Marriages. You can check the FHL at http:familysearch.org. Click on Library Catalog, put in place: Louisa, first line, Virginia, second line. Go to vital statistics which is where you find marriage, deaths. You might want to check the deeds, wills, court records etc. You might find something very interesting about your family that give you an insight into their character.
