    1. [VALOUISA] First Wife of Morris Roberts
    2. Does anyone know the first wife of Morris Roberts ca 1750 – 1811? She married William Roe Bellomy 1768-1833. Louisa County marriage records clearly show William R. Bellomy marriage to Sarah Robards, daughter of Morris Robards, 22 Oct 1792. The wills of William R. Bellomy and Morris Roberts and deed of gift by Mary Roberts plus their marriage bond all of record in Louisa County show beyond all doubt that Sarah Roberts marriage information was miscopied into the official record as Sarah Robards. Morris left will as follows: Louisa County, VA Will Book 6, p366 In the name of God Amen I Morris Roberts be in my proper Senses but knowing that it is ordained that all men is certain to dei (sic) I Bequeath my soul to God hoping he will receive it, and my body to the earth desireing my Executors to see that it decently Entert and as for what good and chattels God almighty has pleased to bless me with I do give as followth. Vescli I give to my daughter Mary Roberts the Land I live on and one feather bed & furnature one trunk and one cow and the money left her by hir Mother, and to my son Richard Roberts Deed for what he has had and for his heir not to have anything more and as my Daughter Frances Deed I give nothing more to hir heirs and asto my daughter Agness and her heirs no more than they have had. And the balance to my son Jerremiah Roberts and all the trade and hasuk he has made during the commencement of my disability of doing my business to this time and all the balance that is left if the said Jerrmiah Roberts shall stay and take care of me until my death Should he be the longest lived and I leave the said Jerrmiah Roberts my hole and sole Executor tho this my last Will and Testament Given under my hand and seal this third day of November in the year of out Lord Christ one thousand eight hundred and ten N.B. the said Jerrmiah Roberts is to give to my Grandson James Bellomy the Bed that I now lie on and one Cow and two sheep. Morris Roberts (his mark) Notice that Morris willed the land he lived on to his daughter Mary Roberts ca 1770-1 Sep 1825 Scott County, Virginia and the money her mother left to her by her mother. Mary willed her estate to James Bellomy, the son of her sister Sarah Roberts Bellomy. I think the land was located on the Old Columbia Road in Louisa County. I believe Sarah Bellamy was a full sister to Mary Roberts. **************Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape. http://body.aol.com/fitness/winter-exercise?NCID=aolcmp00300000002489

    3. Any clue of Morris Roberts being the grandfather of Hugh Kerr "HK" Roberts of the Rutherford (or parent county) Co. SC? HK was born in 1820 or 1822 and was orphaned by January of 1831 with five or six siblings. There is a Morris Roberts family in that area, but I can see no apparent connection. HK's father is 'said to be' John Roberts, who died mining gold at Kings Mtn/Kings Cr. The question I am trying to answer is who was HK's father for sure and does he connect to the Morris Roberts line.
