    2. Suggestion: Do a google.com search for chapman humphrey, putting the full name in quotation marks. Google will give you several hits, but ignore those until you get down to those which list the name Louisa Co., VA. This will refer you to trevilions.com [or some such spelling]. If you are interested in the surname Harlow in colonial days in and around Louisa Co., e-mail me back. I will be slow in answering as I am going on vacation. I hope to have internet access where I am going, however. For a time, I researched colonial Harlow families in and around Louisa Co. [formed from Goochland Co., if I remember correctly] as one Harlow family was a neighbor of an elusive umpteen great uncle whom I am trying to document--one Nathaniel Williams. I have mostly abstracts of land records. You might want to explore this website. If rootsweb wraps the URL in punctuation marks, remove those marks before pasting into your Search blank. These are selected [not consecutive nor total] deeds for Louisa Co. I have not visited this for a time, but I believe there is an index to the deeds. These were made from notes made by a published genealogist Janice Abercrombie over a period of I think 30 years. When a genealogist is searching for a client, the notes are not always consistent. _http://trevilians.com/deeds/deedmain.htm_ (http://trevilians.com/deeds/deedmain.htm) E.W.Wallace **************Ideas to please picky eaters.
