HELP !!!! I am trying to find Reubin Lobb in VA. He was B-1752. His oldest son was Chapman Lobb B-1778 and the next was Reubin. Siblings were William, Caty, Elizabeth, and Sally. The problem is I don't even know what county to look in. They left VA and went to PA [ according to old family notes] in abt 1790 stayed a very short while and went on to KY in 1798. Lobbs in VA, or anywhere are as scarce as hen's teeth. I found a brief mention of a George Lobb attached to someone else, but not enough to get me started. If I go back to the mid 1600s there is mention of Lobbs as ship's captains. However, I am STUCK in mid 1750s VA. If I could just find a county to research. Any hints? Bill Bentley Hurst TX
