They had 8 children: ROBERT, who married JANE HANSFORD, TALIAFERRO, BATTAILE, who moved to GRYMES CO., TEXAS, JOHN STOCKDALE, who died unmarried, RICHARD, a twin, (MARY) SARAH, and WILLIAM TALIAFERRO, SR. who married BARBARA ANN DUKE, of LOUISA CO. (The latter two were my great grandparents. I believe that my great great grandmother, ELIZABETH HAY TALIAFERRO, was the daughter of JOHN TALIAFERRO and ANN STOCKDELL, because of the FIRST NAMES of their children. In the TALIAFERRO LINEAGE of SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, there was an ELIZABETH HAY TALIAFERRO who was the daughter of JOHN TALIAFERRO and ANN STOCKDELL. (There is a book with a lineage chart in the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY LIBRARY OF VERO BEACH FL. ) HE, JOHN, was the son of WILLIAM TALIAFERRO of SNOW CREEK, SPOTSYLVANIA, CO. According to this chart, the lineage of the TALIAFERROS ends here in SPOTSYLVANIA CO. and I cannot find any record of the marriage to prove if this really was my great-grandmother. --part1_b3d0398e.246262f2_boundary--
