Hanover Co. was formed in 1720 from New Kent Co. New Kent Co. was formed in 1654 from York Co. York Co. was formed in 1534, an original Shire I have a heavy dose of family ties to New Kent Co., then Hanover Co., and then also the later creation of Louisa Co.
