    2. Hi Bill, Sad to say, but I can't help with anything about the history of Bell's Crossroads. Yes, you are correct -- it is in Louisa County. If you follow route 208 about six miles south west of the town of Louisa, at the intersection of route 638, you will find it. On the "new" maps of the county, route 208 is Court House road, and 638 is E. Jack Jouette Road. About a mile north of that intersection, is another intersection named Butlers Store, where Old Mountain road (rt 640) leads to the east. Also, if you follow route 638 west of the intersection of 208, in a few hundred yards you will find Byrd Mill road (rt 649) leading off to the north (Byrd Mill, on the South Anna river is about 3 miles away).
