    3. Does anyone on this list know if there are any existing records for the old Goldmine Baptist Church during the 1860-1885 time frame? I am trying to find some indication of recorded birth, baptism or perhaps attendance for the daughters of James Thomas Dickinson and second wife Mary Jane Ellyson. They were Virginia (Virgie) G. b. 1866?, Mary Estelle b. 1868? and Ethel St. Clair (my grandmother) b. 1870? The family always thought Grandmother was born August 18, 1872 but marriage record and census records indicate an earlier date. I was told that the Dickinson family were members of Goldmine Baptist Church for many years, and since I can't locate any birth records I have to look elsewhere. James Thomas Dickinson was the son of James Cole and Mary Sandidge Dickinson, of Belle Isle in the Elk Creek area, and he lived at Palo Alto near Fredericks Hall. School records during that time frame would also help, if any exist, especially since Mary Jane Dickinson apparently taught school for a while, or at least applied for a teaching job in Louisa. I have no information about her later years after 1884 and don't know when and where she died, although I know James Thomas Dickinson moved to Richmond and died there in 1895. I also would like to locate the old Dickinson-Kuyper family cemetery at the site of Belle Isle, well hidden in the woods near the Claybrooke tree farm on Route 618 near Contrary Creek. If anyone has even a clue how to find it, please let me know. My cousins and I have searched twice without success! Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
