I am confused by the latest developments concerning the book. a copyright is a legal protection of a work of some type-registerd with the united states.it is only allowed to be given to someone, if it is owned by the person giving it.ie, if the copyright was not renewed it can be given to anyone as it beongs to no one and therefore is not the property of one person,heir or not.the copyright must be registered ;otherwise , It is free material for anyone to use. Does anyone else agree?
