In 1800 there were two John Peay's living in Louisa Co, VA according to the Census. Both were over age 45. In 1784, one of these John Peay's bought land on Cub Creek from Isham Watkins. In 1796, willbook i, the will of this John peay was recorded, and it says his wife's name is Mary. I also believe one of these John Peays was the father of Anthony Peay, born abt 1776. Lastly, I believe that if I can find out the ancestry/decendants for 1 generation of these John Peays I will figure out how 3 Peay lines are related.
