    1. [VALOUISA-L] David Pulliam
    2. I just got a will for David Pulliam, hoping to find a clue for MY William P. Pulliam. This will is David making out a new will in 1794. The County is Spotsylvania and it is in Berkeley Parish. The children named are Nathaniel, John, Elijah, James, William, and Nancy, Sally, and Mary. He does not mention his wife. He says that Mary is his youngest daughter and that William is the youngest son. He also says that he " would like for them all to stay together, at least until they get married". The only other mention of age is that Mary and William should get a full share when they turn 19. I am very puzzled by the age. It seems that from his wish that they stay together until married that they might ALL be underage. Does any one out there have any more info on these people. Such as wife, ages, parents etc?? This will and inventory are pretty thorough. I will be glad to share info with any one. The will was witnessed by George Penny , William Penny and Moses Wheelor. The inventory was dated July 1st 1794. Hope there is something here that might help someone On an additional page, Nathaniel and Joseph Pulliam and Stockley Towles and William Bronaugh are held and firmly bound to Thomas Towles, Robert Hart, Serec [?] Holladay, and Bevy [?] Stubblefield, Gentlemen Justices of the Court of Spotsylvania now sitting in the sum of $2000.00 to the payment whereof, etc-etc. Translation--??? What was going on? It goes on to set conditions of this obligation. Bill Bentley Hurst TX
