    3. Welcome to the New Year Haven't posted my surname interests in a while, so thought I'd try to scare some out of the woodwork Carnicle - I know they were in Loudoun County in the 1780's up until the 1820's when they moved on to Ohio. Have found scattered bits of information on the Carnicle family but not a whole lot. There are indications that the family may have originally been among the early Pennsylvania Quakers, but have not found them there as yet, and found records of a couple of Carnicle men who fought in the war of 1812. Any Carnicle cousins out there?? Cline/Kline - I've found some indications that my Cline family spent some time in Loudoun County in migration from Maryland to the Shennandoah area. Earliest known ancestor at this point is John Cline who was possibly born circa 1770 in Loudoun County Named first son David...so if naming tradition holds he may have been the son of David. The Cline family has been quite confusing to sort out...especially when they hit the Shenannandoah area. Thank you for any tidbit you might be able to throw my way Hope Freeman Carnicle Phoenix, AZ
