Hi Mary, Can't help you with the rest, but I can help you with Taylorstown. Yes, there is a Taylorstown, and it is west of Lucketts, just off of US route 15. You can most easily find it by taking Stumptown Road west from 15 - for some reason, I think it is route 682, but am not sure. Taylorstown is located pretty well at the peak of the first ridge of the Blue Ridge mountains. Taylorstown had a store, which had been closed for some years, was reopened, and has recently closed again. I believe that there used to be a post office there as well, but am sure it has been gone for a while. That area is becoming popular with upscale horse farmers these days.
