Virginia, Regarding your interest in TUSHIMER....The name should actually be Dorscheimer, but I have seen it spelled various ways with a 'T'. I have never come across any information that Jacob and Clara Dorscheimer had a daughter named Catherine. In the St. James United Church of Christ there is a record of birth for Maria Magdalena, born 12 Dec 1789, daughter of Johannes Junken and mother Catharina. Godparents were Jacob Dorsheimer and his wife Clara. I would be interested to hear more from anyone who has information on Catharina. Cathy clauer@oregonvos.net
