    3. Do you think he moved to Ohio, at 16 years old, without his parents? They should be somewhere in Western Pa., or Ohio, rather than Virginia. Here's another "rough" estimate. If the family migrated to Ohio, they were from northern Loudoun. The southerners "generally" went to Kentucky first. Did your man end up in southern Ohio, just across the river from Kentucky? Have you found him in 1840 and/or 1850? Collect the names of 10-20 neighbors on either side of him from the census schedules, and look for them in Virginia.Who were his associates in Ohio?     3. Thanks Marty, The Obit says with his parents. His wife was born Pickaway Co. Oh. they married in Hocking Co. 1843, lived in Vinton Co.sold land in 1849 there, In 1850 census Vinton co. Cant find him in 60 Entered Civil War from there in 62.. Lots of Turners there, so far haven't been able to find a line related. Mary
