Sondra, I just realized that you were the one requesting info on the map of Loudoun. If it is the Yardley Taylor map...they can only be purchased at the museum gift shop (or so we were told at the library) and now cost $25. There is a much less expensive map $5 which is folded and easy to mail but I do not know the date. The Yardley Taylor map is ca 1850. If you will give me some of the roads and land points, I will look for your James property to see if this is the map. A gentleman is also plotting landowners of 1860 and has completed a few districts in the southeastern area of Loudoun. I saw the name of David James son of Dean James. Let me know how I can help you.
