Hi List I'm working on the Power and Gheen and Brabham line. I Know that Walter Power Married Margaretta Hoffman (or different spelling not sure) on 12-24-1773 then to Mary Polly Orrison on 9-20-1802 Robert W. Power (Walter Power and Margaretta son) married Arminda Gheen on 5-10-1830 in Loudoun County, Virginia. Now This is what I have found and would like to know if any one working on these line have found this and are they the same people. I found a Walter Power married Martha Brabham on 8-16-1816 in Frederick County, Maryland County Court Record Film #0014082 Marriage Index then I found a Margaret Ann Gheen married Robert W. Power on 4-3-1862 in Frederick County Maryland Library of Congress reference number(s) 975.287V28mb. So Can anyone help straighten all of this out and which Margaret Gheen belong to Robert was born in 1801 and some have him born in 1808 but if his mother is Margaretta Hoffman his birth date would have to be in 1801 and not in 1808.
