Sorry Heather, There are no KENT's listed in the index of "Some of the Earliest Oaths of Allegiance in the USA". That does not mean that they did not take the Oath - simply that it is not in this particular book. Good Luck, Susan Susan, Could you check to see if there is a John KENT or a Thomas KENT or a Robert KENT listed in the Index--I know that Robert was a veteran, but know nothing else of him.
