In the 1860 Loudoun County Census, Robert Ambrose and family appear to be farm workers, maybe tobacco or whatever was grown in the area. The family is listed under the name of superintendent, Michael Mullin/Mueller/Miller. (Each reading of the original census finds a different spelling.)
