    3. I agree with Edie. Unless a certain religious practice does hinge upon a specific family's history, IMHO it should not be on this list. An example: If a religion forbade installing a marked or inscribed tombstone, as I understand some-- not ALL--early Quakers did, that might explain why the final resting place of a relative could not be located. Or if an ancestor was a minister or church officer, practices of churches keeping records could be helpful. There are other uses of those records which are vital, but NOT indepth discussions of beliefs.
