Hi again, In my last message I said Delilah was the daughter of the elder Elijah Jenkins and Rebecca, and that Harrison was her husband and that Tavenner's Papers at the Balch Library support this theory, too. I was too quick with the Tavenner statement. After rereading his Jenkins entries, I found that he has Harrison Jenkins as the son of Elijah and Rebecca Jenkins. I don't know where he got his information, but I don't think he is correct; I think Delilah was the daughter of the elder Elijah Jenkins and wife Rebecca. Also, if you draw a pedigree chart of these entries in Tavenner's Papers, you'll see that some of the dates don't seem to fit. Of course, it's difficult to read his writing as it's so small. Valerie
