    3. This last weekend I "treked" to Waterford (from Cincinnati, Ohio) and my sister and I talked to her neighbor, who said that my sister's farm was originally owned by Thomas Hutton of Scot-Irish descent, a Quaker of Fairfax from PA. He was a "near relative of the Janneys". Then a Thompson (I think he said Edward) bought her place, then William Virts (not sure of the spelling), Uriah Bean, Mc Garevick, then Boones. Anyone who has any great stories about any of these families, we would love to read them. By the way, I loved the antique shops. They were terrific. I bought a great old chair. I love the chair-it looks exactly like a Waterford chair, but it is a valet chair. Does anyone know if the Waterford chairs were sometimes Valet chairs? Thank you for all your wonderful responses to my original email and hope I get as many wonderful responses to this one. Ruthie

    3. I am reposting part of my message because part of the message was cut off. I loved the antique shops (in Waterford). They were terrific. I bought a great old chair. I love the chair-it looks exactly like a Waterford chair, but it is a valet chair. Does anyone know if the Waterford chairs were sometimes Valet chairs? Who made the Waterford chairs? Can't wait to go back for another visit! Thank you. Ruthie
