My McARTOR family appears in Loudoun County probably just before 1800 and lived in and around Hillsboro(ugh). They probably entered the county from Pennsylvania, where the oldest son, MOSES TAYLOR, was said to have been born in 1780. The father, JONATHAN, whose wife we only know as MARY ??, sired four other sons--MAHLON, WILLIAM, JAMES, and JONATHAN, JR. We have a wonderful researcher turning over rocks in Loudoun now, but she (and we) would appreciate any clues. Thank you. Bob McArtor (Alexandria)
