I've listed an old letter on www.ebay.com, dated 1836, 'postmarked' White Hall, VA, written by L.P. Daingerfield to Judge Richard E. Parker of Snickersville (Loudoun county). You can see a photo and read some abstracts at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1343171185 I tried contacting some Daingerfield researchers; only one I heard back from said it was a fifth cousin in her husband's line (or something like that) and wasn't interested. I don't know anything about Judge Parker. I'm letting this list know about the letter on the offhand chance that it might just interest someone from a historical standpoint. Wish I could find some more old Loudoun area letters, but they're few and far between. Tom Bishop
