This is my Adams line: 1. William Adams (abt1796-1846) married Nancy Robertson (abt1796-1845) on December 24, 1816 in Loudoun Co, Va. William was a miller and owned a grist mill from 1841 until his death near Round Hill. Both he and Nancy are buried in the Ebenezer Old School Baptist Cemetery. 2. John Henry Adams (1817-1898) married Mary Jane Hutchison (1821-1875), daughter of Nelson S. and Lydia Burson Hutchison., on December 15, 1841. They were the parents of Nelson; Susan; William; Joseph; Henrietta; Mary; Anna; Sarah; Alice; John Hoover; Catherine; Dixon; Charles and Blanche 2, Mason Clarence Adams (1822-1886) married Armenia S. Hutchison (1825-1907), daughter of Nelson S. and Lydia Burson Hutchison (unproven) on November 2, 1846 in Fauquier Co, Va.. They were the parents of: James William; Sarah; Orrel V; Walter Harrison; Edward Rush; Nettie; Joseph T; and, Anna Mason. 2. James A. Adams (1825-1906) married (1) Elizabeth Roberts December 14, 1846 in Campbell, Va (2) Elizabeth Cline January 27, 1857 in Clark County, Illinois. Do not know if he had children. 2. William (nothing known except for this excerpt from a letter written by Mason Adams: "Alfred's children are living with William Adams in Virginia") 2. Nancy E. Adams (also known as Ann E, and Jane) (1834-1898) married Henry A. Hutchison 1822-1893), son of Henry E. and Susan Plaster Hutchison, on April 13, 1858 in Clark Co, Illinois. They had: George; James; William; Susan; Nelson; Armenia; Mary; and Walter Henry. 2. Mary Catherine Adams (1836-1923) married George H. Davison in Clark Co, Illinois. They had: America (1862- 1883) who married J.A. Lockhart in Illinois. 2. Richard (abt 1839-1846) buried with William and Nancy in Ebenezer Old School Baptist Cemetery 2. Are your Adams related to any Magaha, McGaughey, McGaha, or similar? I think I saw where a Mary M. married a David Adams early 1800's. I'm trying to tie a Patrick and Benjamin Magaha (McGaha, McGaga) who paid taxes in Loudoun Co. in 1770's. I believe them to be ancestors of my ancestor Isaac Magaha, b 1813, Loudoun, but I can never connect him to a family "for sure."
